Everything about Progenitors totally explained

» This article refers to the Star Trek race, and not a Convention with the same name in the in the role-playing game.

The Progenitors were a race of fictional beings in the Star Trek Universe created by Gene Roddenberry. The race evolved into the Aldean society.
They are the founders of an idyllic artistic society on the planet of Aldea. Centuries ago they built a sophisticated supercomputer, which they called the Custodian. This computer provided for all citizens of the planet. The computer also projected a powerful cloaking shield over the planet to conceal it from any potential intrusion by space-faring races.
